German Intensive Courses in a small group
for beginners and non-beginners
The intensive day-courses are small group courses with max. 8 participants.
These take place daily from Monday to Friday either in the morning or early afternoon.
basic parameters:
- for all language levels, from A1 – C2
- Placement test before the start (written and/or oral)
- Language training according to the inlingua Method
- 1 modul, mostly inl. CD, iOL password for 4 weeks
- Info folder with pen, incl. information about inlingua and Salzburg
- city map and freetime activity program (1x per week)
- Course certificate at the end of the course
- free Wi-Fi in all rooms
- 50 % refund of the course fee via “Salzburger Bildungsscheck”, if criteria are met!
Step 1: define your current language level:

| A1 | Entrance level | Can understand and use familiar, everyday expressions and very simple sentences |
| A2 | Basic level | Can understand sentences and commonly used terms and communicate in simple routine situations |
| B1 | Lower Medium level | Can understand the main points when clear standard language is used and when in familiar situations. Can handle most of the situations while traveling in the language area |
| B2 | Upper Medium level | Can understand the main content of complex texts on concrete and abstract topics; also understands technical discussions in their own area of expertise. Thus can communicate spontaneously and fluently |
| C1 | Advanced level | Can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts and also capture implicit meanings without having to search clearly for words more often |
| C2 | Excellent level | Can easily understand virtually everything that is read or heard. Can summarize information from various written and oral sources and render it in a coherent presentation |
